Mark the place on the wall where you wish to place the hanger. Each hanger holds up to 25 pounds*. Use two hangers for wall hangings of up to 50 pounds! For use in most newer homes.
NOT FOR USE IN WOOD PANELED, CONCRETE OR HAND-PLASTERED WALLS. NOT FOR USE IN CEILINGS.
Open the package and carefully remove the hangers. CAUTION: HANGERS ARE SHARP!
Hold the hanger by the flat part of the head as shown in Fig. 1. Place the thumb and forefinger of the left hand on the square part of the head and the thumb and forefinger of the right hand on the round part of the head.
Place the sharp point of the hanger where the wall has been marked as shown in Fig. 2. Firmly advance the point of the hanger through the wallboard surface rocking the hanger UP and DOWN as you advance the point into the wall.
If you cannot advance the hanger, you might be on a stud. Try moving the hanger at least 1.5” to the left or right of the original spot.
Once the hanger is all the way into the wall rotate the hanger a quarter turn to the right so that the square part is up as in Fig. 3. You're now ready to hang your picture. HAPPY HANGING!
